Taffy End Table in Walnut and Curly Sassafras
Here is a new version of my Taffy End Table design. This one is a true one of a kind, and features a top in curly sassafras, and carved legs and aprons in walnut. Sassafras is a fairly uncommon wood to find in lumber form for furniture, especially with curly figured grain. I love working with Sassafras; it fills my woodshop with an amazing spicy/sweet smell. The walnut in this table has a really nice dark rich color. That is the natural color of the wood (I don’t use any stains), brought to life with a hand rubbed Danish oil finish.
This end table is currently available. I have a current winter special on this piece: I will ship it anywhere in the lower 48 states for a shipping fee of only $45, including crating.
