Walnut-Lime Taffy Mirror – A Custom Wall Mirror

2013 September 10
by David

I just completed four new wall mirrors in bright retro colors.  This one is carved walnut with lime-chartreuse green.  The walnut I used for this mirror had unusual streaks of lighter and darker grain, which worked really well with the carved form, and added another visual dimension to the design.  I can make these contemporary mirrors in custom sizes and custom colors, and in other woods by request.

I will post the other mirrors from the group of four in the next few blog posts, so stay tuned…

These Taffy Mirrors were for an order of 5 mirrors that were shipped to a new shop in Evanston, Illinois, called Paramour Bungalow.  Evanston is in the Chicago area.  If you are in that area, stop by and check them out.

Special thanks to  Jack Rowell for his expertise in photographing the new mirrors.
